I hadn't heard the term "remedial justice". Seems closer to restorative than retributive justice, in modern parlance.

I've heard various characterizations of economic justice. Some break this up into four categories. I like the trinitarian approach. :-) Part of life among even well-meaning people is that we will have occasional differences over how to resolve issues. Retribution could be a part of remedial justice where egregious acts have been committed but in some cases but remedial is largely about having a court of appeal to resolve differences.
