I packed my bags this morning and headed to the Acton University in Grand Rapids. Below is evidence that I always pack the most critical items first. (Mrs. Kronicle exercised a veto of this plan.)
Once I checked in at the motel, it was over to the Eberhard Center for a social hour before dinner.
The view out the window is beautiful. (I love rivers.)
Father Robert Sirico gave the opening address to more than 275 attendees from 41 countries and various Christian traditions, including Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Mainline Protestant, and Evangelical Protestant.
The evening finished with Sirico conducting a moving interview of 87 year old Diet Eman concerning her work in the Dutch resistance movement during World War II.
