I appreciated Hauerwas's comment about how they were trying to change the questions not come up with new answers to old questions.

I think of the conflicts in the Presbyterian tribe I see folks folks want to keep on fighting the battles of the 20's. They want to make us choose between Fosdick and Machen. I have no interest in choosing between those two. Fosdick bores me and Machen annoys me. Except on those days when Machen bores me and Fosdick annoys me.

How about some new questions folks.

But new questions would mean coming up with new answers wouldn't it?

If you're interested in the book form, you can also check my pastor's blog from time to time, http://www.pastorjohnwright. It's the same guy who organized the event and conducted all the interviews.

I don't know if I met you are not at the conference, but it's cool to hear your reflections.

should have been "..met you or not...", oops

Hi Eric, I don't think we met. I did find the blog you mentioned a couple days ago. I guess as an MNU grad ('81) I could force myself to read a Point Loma blog. :) I have it my bloglines now. I enjoyed looking at your blog as well.
